VISCIO DIVINA: A Science & Art Exhibit
This special art & science exhibit featured beautiful data and science-inspired art. Attendees learned about the ancient form of prayer called Visio Divina, and got to practice it with our exhibit.
The event was led by Mount Carmell Founder Ciara Reyes-Ton, and the Associate Director of Spiritual Development at Lipscomb, Andrea Zahler.
The Experience
Attendees sat down at workshop style tables with postcard-sized images of data and digital art. They were then invited to follow a prayer prompt to practice Visio divina.
Larger pieces of art (textile and mixed media) were mounted on the walls for attendees to walk around and engage with.
