Lipscomb University's McClure Faith and Science Center, Office of Spiritual Formation, along with the Mount Carmell Faith, Science, and Arts Collective are organizing a special art exhibit this Fall.
The event will feature science art, images of beautiful data and/or art inspired by science. Participants will learn about the practice of Visio Divina, and have an opportunity to interact and engage with the science art in ways that are informative (learning a little about the science) and also spiritually formative (encountering God through his creation).
Here's where YOU come in. Are you a scientist or artist of faith? Do you have beautiful data or science-inspired art that you'd like to be featured in our Visio Divina Art Exhibit? We welcome all forms of data, qualitative and quantitative, microscopic and macroscopic, from all STEM fields, as well as art inspired by science.
Examples of submissions may include an image taken under a microscope, a phylogenetic tree, field data, chromatography, 3D modeling of a protein, a mathematical model, a painting...surprise us!
All work must be your own, created or taken by you. If AI is used in any capacity for the data, please specify in the image description. You can submit your data for consideration using the form below.
